Information for Firewalk Hosts
It is now just over a week until International Firewalk Day and it is amazing to know that there will be 24 Firewalks taking place on the same time. Seems pretty amazing and powerful for the world. Thank you so much for being a huge part of this!
There are a few things that we can all do to gain maximum exposure for this day:
Talk About it
Let people know about International Firewalk Day. Whatever Social Media platform you use, whether it’s Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram or something newer and fancier, post about International Firewalk Day this week and on the big day itself. Use the hashtag #firewalkday on your posts and we will share them as best we can. If you see someone else posting about it, share their posts too.
We are going to make a video about International Firewalk Day after it takes place. There are a few things you can do to help with that:
- Send back details on the time of your Firewalk and how many people took part
- Send the best photos of your Firewalkers and your Fire
- Send a video of you, and/or your participants, saying “Happy Firewalk Day” – please use your native language as this will add to the diversity
- If possible in the video say your name and name of closest bigger city you think people in other countries will recognise and the name of your country. For example ” My name is Mandrake, here we are firewalking in Gotham City, Fantasyland.”
You can send this to me via Dropbox, Email or whatever means works best for you.
It would be great to have this back before April 10th.
One more thing
Is there anything that we can be doing to help you with your event?
Thanks again for being part of this 😊
